Looking at the Importance of Songs in Worship
Historically, songs and music have always been an important part of the idea of worship Perhaps the reason for this is the ease which songs and music provide in expressing worship
Hymns, a Time-Honored Tradition
The singing of hymns has been a valued part of our worship services since early-recorded history. In Exodus we learn that Moses and the children of Israel "sang - unto the Lord" in gratitude for their deliverance from Egypt." And in Psalms we are directed to "make a joyful noise" to the Lord, to praise him with harp, timbrel, stringed instruments, organs, and cymbals. Christ and his disciples sang a hymn just before the events at Gethsemane and Paul and Silas sang in their prison cell.

I will pray for you ... I will pray for you. remember God always loves you no matter what you do. It is hard to be Christian. The more you get closer to God the more Satan tries to pull you away. Never give up and keep praying! God is more powerful than satan. He made him after all. ( I didn't capitalize satan on purpose, he doesn't deserve? it.)

Just finished ... Just finished watching Passion of the Christ for the first time, very impacting. It made me cry to think that Jesus suffered through so much for us. I love Him so much! <3 It is amazing how much He truly loves us, and how He didn't even have to save us. He had the choice, and He decided to die for us. Thank you Jesus, for the incredible sacrifice you made for all of us!?

I dislike the "sweet-Jesus" music: there are literally billions of people on earth struggling to make ends meet--the leper, the demoniac, the prostitute, the paralytic,? the blind, the deaf, the starving oppressed masses that are tortured and crucified in humiliation; and we feast on a kind of spiritual ecstasy--our spirits floating up to heaven to? be received by God's receptive nostrils so that He smiles? Are you joking me? We should be weeping like Mary wept for her Son dangling on the cross.?
